🇺🇸 2. Connecting your Spotify account

Why you need to connect Spotify

You create your DailyPlaylists account with email or Google. To submit music, add playlists or use most features, you then connect your Spotify account. The connection runs through Spotify's official API. We never see or store your Spotify password.

Good to know

• One Spotify account can be connected to one DailyPlaylists login.

• Once connected, the Spotify account cannot be swapped for another one yourself. If you need to change it, message us.

"This Spotify account is already connected"

This means your Spotify account is already linked to another DailyPlaylists login. Log in with that account instead, or use Forgot password? to regain access. If you are not sure which login it is, message us with your Spotify profile link.

I'm stuck in a loop when connecting Spotify

Try once in a private/incognito window. If it still doesn't work, check our Known Issues and upvote the issue if it's listed there, or message us via the chat.

How to remove the connection

You can remove DailyPlaylists' access at any time in your Spotify account under Manage apps. You can reconnect later.
