Thanks for reaching out! I’d be happy to clarify how gates work on DailyPlaylists.
When you submit your track, some curators may set up a gate. A gate is simply a small action required before your submission is completed. Common examples include:
Following the curator or their playlist Saving the track on Spotify Other simple engagement actions These gates help curators grow their playlists and ensure that artists engaging with them are genuine listeners.
A few important points to keep in mind:
Not all playlists have gates: it depends on the curator’s choice.
Gates are optional for artists: you decide whether you want to complete the action and submit. They don’t affect your credits: you still control how and where you submit.
We’ve put these systems in place to make the process fair for both artists and curators.

Thanks for the reply. But still the procedure is not entirely clear to me: I made my submissions to playlists without completing the actions required by the submission gates, so are the submissions incomplete? Did they not go through successfully? I also tried to see if I could go back and perform the required actions, but I couldn’t find a way to do so.
