Do playlists affect the Spotify algorithm?

Just wondering if playlists kind of influence the Spotify algorithm to expose your music to newer audiences or it's just limited to the amount of that specific playlist listeners in where is your song placed. Any way to measure this?

    That’s a great question. We posted a blog article with the basics of the Spotify algorithm, give it a check as it might help you!

    In conclusion, all the actions that users do in Spotify (including streams, saves, searches, add to playlists) add up to generate each user’s taste profile, and that taste profile is one of the components that lead the algorithm.

    If you get into a playlist and legit users start streaming your song, it will add to their taste profile and can be potentially recommended to users with a similar taste profile.

    Just as clarification, there is no hack or trick to tackle the algorithm, but you can nudge the algorithm in your favor.
