THE BiG MiSTAKE OF REDUCE TO 10 FREE SUBMISSIONS

Hey guys. Sorry bout the journal yet is really important and necessary for you to understand. Let me start with a THANKS.

I really love this interchange. Think is really helpful for the 3 of us DailyPlayLists, Artists and Curators. Here goes my reality as 2 of those.

AS A CURATOR what you explained is not also 100% truth, but also an excellent decision. I’ve also suffered that problem. Music submissions that don’t match at all with the PlayLists and I really hate that. So your decision is totally fear and I 100% agree with.

YET AS AN ARTiST I HAVE to STAND about is a HiGH LEVEL AWFUL DECISION. MOST IMPORTANT PART on this trilogy are ARTISTS, not curators. ARTIST SHOULD BE PROTECTED MORE THAN CURATORS. Is how industry works. 

As an artist since my first beginning 5 years ago, when I barely know industry, I’ve ALWAYS SEND SUBMISSIONS TO THE RIGHT PLAYLISTS. ALWAYS cuz I’ve always understood my HOUSE-EDM music has nothing to do in a Rock n Roll or in a Gospel PlayList. Due to knowledge-less  I barely used free submissions and I decided to became Curator and stopped as an artist for a while. 

Nowadays I’ve got a way clear and better idea about what I want, what I know and what’s the role I wanna play. And I choose BOTH CURATOR AND ARTIST for MY WHOLE LIFE. Just take a superficial look to my artist profile and my activity in DailyPlayList for you to realise what I’m talking bout. 

Yet I’m still a LOW or ZERO BUDGET ARTIST with a one great first target 👉🏻 1 MILLION MONTHLY LISTENERS ON SPOTIFY. 

I just forgot about YouTube, Apple Music or whatever. Don’t care for now. NO MONEY LEADS TO MORE BRAIN. So I created my own marketing strategy based on DAILYPLAYLIST FREE SUBMISSIONS cuz YOU ARE THE ONLY REAL OPPORTUNITY IN THIS WHOLE MILLIONAIRE BUSINESS FOR ARTISTS LIKE US TO GROW. THE ONLY ONE AND I TASTED EVERYTHING. SO YOU REPRESENT THE ONLY HOPE WE GOT. That’s why MOST OF LOW BUDGET ARTISTS QUIT, cuz we got NO CHOICE BUT YOU and most of them CANNOT CREATE A MARKETING STRATEGY. It took me way much more than 5 years FAILING AND LEARNING. 

So in my specific case and should worth for THOUSAND OF ARTISTS in this platform, REDUCE TO 10 FREE SUBMISSIONS MEANS KILLING HOPE, DREAMS and I don’t gonna tell my whole story, yet I SLEPT ON THE STREETS, SHELTERS, I MADE HALF OF MY MUSIC BEING A HOMELESS even NOWADAYS I have to FIGURE OUT HOW TO KEEP THIS ROOF FOR THE NEXT MONTH AND NOT GET BACK TO HOMELESS. 

CAN YOU NOW UNDERSTAND WHAT THOSE 20 FREE SUBMISSIONS MEANS?

I PUT MY WHOLE ON THOSE 20 FREE SUBMISSIONS. 

The marketing strategy I created is about releasing 2 or minimum 1 songs a month, and I come EVERY SINGLE DAY TO FIND NEW PLAYLISTS TO SUBMIT to. When I’m rejected, I mark that Curator and don’t submit again cuz I can’t waste nor even 1 single free submission. AND YOU REDUCE TO 10? 🤷🏻‍♂️

And guess what? I’M GETTING  EXCELLENT  RESULTS since I started with this strategy. From 100 to over 400 monthly listeners. I got my first song EVER over 1K plays using ONLY this FREE SUBMISSIONS strategy. 

We all know how algorithms work. As AN ARTIST I JUST NEED THOSE 20 FREE SUBMISSIONS AND REGULARITY AND I WILL MAKE MY 1 MILLION MONTHLY LISTENERS GOAL, I’LL EVEN GROW FASTER IF YOU INCREASE, BUT NOT TO REDUCE GUYS THIS IS REALLY DEVASTATING. 

Unfortunately got not suggestions by now, yet I’m sure REDUCE IS NOT THE WAY GUYS. I GUARANTEE THAT, IS REALLY DEVASTATED FOR THOSE WHO NEEDS PROTECTION THE MOST. 

THANKS ANYWAY. I’LL BE ALWAYS THANKFUL TO YOU CUZ IS NOT A JOKE 👉🏻 YOU MEAN HOPE FOR US AND YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE IN THE WORLD CAPABLE OF LET US DREAM AND KEEP FIGHTING. BELIEVE ME I KNOW HOW EASILY TO PROVE IT. Just take a look to my ecosystem is really easy to realised.
